Jan is a physicist who graduated among the top of his class, founding his first data-science agency straight out of university. What began as curiosity for how algorithms could solve practical problems soon grew into a passion for bringing AI to industries where technology had barely scratched the surface. Over the years, he delivered multiple AI systems for safety-critical industrial inspections, proving that even the most traditional sectors could benefit from modern, intelligent solutions.

He later joined forces with Christoph - a former BP Oil & Gas sales leader with deep industry insight - and with Felix, an AI and computer-vision expert and now second-time founder who has also worked with a YC-backed startup before.

Together, they founded deeplify, an AI-powered inspection platform built to transform how the world maintains its critical infrastructure. From pipelines and power plants to aircraft and ships, deeplify enables end-to-end automated inspections and predictive maintenance, making asset integrity not only safer and more efficient but fundamentally smarter.
