Hubertus Bessau

"99.9% of world-changing progress comes from the 0.1% of the most brilliant minds. My mission is to help these outliers turn their audacious visions into reality."
Hubertus started programming websites at 16, already sensing that creating something from nothing was his calling. After serving as a paratrooper in the German Armed Forces and studying business in Passau and Budapest, he co-founded mymuesli in 2007 with two university friends and just €3,500.
What began as mass customization for breakfast became a 15-year journey building one of Europe's most beloved food brands. Bootstrapped for eight years, mymuesli grew to 800+ employees serving millions across nine countries. The venture proved that personalized products could actually scale – before personalization became the standard.
Three days after transitioning to mymuesli's supervisory board in 2021, he co-founded Project Eaden. The mission: making sustainability irresistible by using efficient fiber technology from the textile industry to create ultra-realistic plant-based meat. After raising €10.5M (Europe's largest alt-protein seed round) and bringing products to market, the journey validated his conviction that saving the planet must become a pleasure, not a compromise.
In 2024, despite having the track record to raise from any VC or self-fund, Hubertus and his co-founder Leonard von Lojewski chose a different path for their AI venture RSN8 Labs. They joined EWOR's fellowship – a decision that would shape both ventures' trajectories.
RSN8 Labs uses cognitive AI to predict marketing resonance before campaigns launch, helping major brands optimize messaging at 10% of traditional focus group costs. They chose EWOR because of Hubertus’ insight as a serial entrepreneur:
"I've learned first-hand that great companies aren't built on funding alone. EWOR offers what money can't buy: direct access to unicorn builders who understand the real challenges founders face. When partners spend hours weekly building alongside you, not just advising, that's worth more than any valuation.
"His experience and the fact that he as an advisor saw first-hand how EWOR works and who the peers would be, convinced him to join. Later in 2025, he joined as Partner & CMO to help scale this approach globally.
Whether developing sustainable proteins, AI marketing tools, or supporting founders, Hubertus seeks the intersection where innovation creates value for all involved. His ventures consistently demonstrate that category-defining companies emerge when ambition meets applied tech.
"The future depends on connecting the right minds with the right resources at the right moment. That's what we're building at EWOR – an ecosystem that acts as your co-founder."
