Tumbleweed
Tumbleweed is building the world’s first certification-less access to space, making shipping cargo to space 10x cheaper and 5x faster. This unlocks a trillion Euro opportunity: freeing manufacturing from gravity to make 10x better semiconductors and 10x better cancer cures.
Their technology is centered around Pod, the world’s first pre-certified payload container for space, and Oasis, their satellite platform built in-house after proving it was cheaper and faster than any available satellite.
Uniquely enabling 100% of their customers, their first mission is fully sold out, launching frontier science and manufacturing payloads to space in 2026. Their second mission is already selling out, with customers including large AgriTech conglomerates and medical centers, as well as space agencies and industrials.
About the Tech
Their pre-certified payload containers reduce paperwork needed to ship to space by 10,000x, making it 10x cheaper, 5x faster and 7x lower effort. This makes space logistics usable at industrial scale, enabling 10x better cancer cures and semiconductors, accelerates drug discovery 10x, and much more.
About the Team
These co-founders shipped missions to Mars in 18 months, won university student rocketry competitions aged 12, and have been scaling frontier tech companies since they were teenagers.
Their team includes serial founders in space tech and biotech, industry veterans with 30+ years experience, researchers that published their first paper on dark matter research at 17, and robotics competition champions.
