Erika is the co-founder and CEO of auryx, a company on a mission to enable preventative healthcare by using AI to extract health information from sound. She has a background in biomedical engineering and computer science, with a degree from the University of Glasgow and a PhD from the University of Cambridge focused on using machine learning to extract clinical insights from pathological heart sounds. Before founding auryx, she spent four years in the startup ecosystem, progressing from engineering roles to CTO. She is now excited to be building her own company, focused on turning research into real-world impact.
