Jan is a self-taught data scientist and programmer who studied physics at Ruhr University, earning both bachelor's and master's degrees. During his academic journey, he taught himself programming and later shifted his focus towards data science, finding it more practical and impactful than theoretical physics. His interest in solving real-world problems led him to co-found Deeplify in February 2023 with his co-founder Tim, and later, Christoph joined as a third co-founder, bringing business and energy sector experience.
